Tammy Baller’s work will change everything you think you know about functional glass. In fact, her work will blow your mind. Her amazing pipes, dab rigs, spoons, slides, and carb caps were just a start Tammy Baller glass pipes are unique, whimsical, and highly functional. Tammy baller glass pendants include nugs of all sorts, from single nugs that look good enough to smoke to tiny bags of nugs you wear around your neck.
How Tammy Started
Tammy began working with soft glass in college before switching to lampworking and focusing on pipe making. In the years since, “The Baller” began making a name for herself as a preeminent pipe maker who focuses on figures in general, but specifically on cartoons and cultural icons. With figures ranging from South Park characters to cultural icons like Bob Ross, Tammy’s work is incredibly recognizable, unbelievably desirable, and ultimately collectible.
Tammy’s legacy at the Bern Gallery goes back a long way. She has been a guest at many Pipe Classics, finally making her debut as a competitor in 2017’s Pipe Classic 12, in which she placed second AND took the glassblower’s choice award for her incredible “Einstein dropping Acid” piece. She also finished 2nd in Bern Gallery’s 2021 Cyber Pipe Showdown, which is a virtual pipe blowing competition, with her homage to the Neverending Story. Today, Bern Gallery is proud to offer Tammy Baller glass for sale, and to display her entry piece to Pipe Classic 13, entitled “Mona Lisa’s Smile”.
